The flanges are one of the most commonly used methods of joining after the welding is done. These are used as the joints want the dismantling. This will be able to offer the flexibility for the repairs and maintenance.  Flange links to the pipes along with different equipment and valves.


How do they work?
The break up flanges are given as addition to the pipelines if the day to day maintenance if needed at the time of the plant operation. Flanges  are made up of three different factors. These are assembled by another fitter. There are some of the special controls those are needed for the selection process.

 The process that goes ahead
You are not truly supposed to use the flange connection in the piping of the underground where the Welded Pipes  are being used. The flange is a common most source of the fire and leak where the process is going on. There are different types of flanges that can fit to your needs. Some of the flanges are based on the connection types while others are based on the facing types.

The types of the flanges
There are different types of flanges those are being manufactured in the Engineering Works. There are a few Threaded Flanges that have thread in the inner layer. They are also known as screwed flange. This is a connection that has a lot of sped. This is not suitable when there is a lot of load and the temperature is high. Threaded Flanges are very commonly used in the utility services like the water and air.

There are also Socket-Weld Flanges that have a female socket.  This is where the pipe is being adjusted. Then the welding is done from the outer area of the pipe. Normally that is used in the small piping and it is fine for the low temperatures.

Some of the companies also make Slip-On Flanges. They have a hole that matches the diameter at the outset. This is where the pipe can pass smoothly. The flange is kept on the pipes and the fillet is welded from inside as well as outside.  Slip-On Flange is best only if the pressure is low and the temperature is also low. The flange is available in bigger size that also helps to link the big piping that ha the nozzles. These flanges are used in the construction.
